Are WillsConnect wills legally valid?

Platform

Yes, WillsConnect wills are completely legally valid in England and Wales when properly signed and witnessed.

Every will created through WillsConnect:

  • Meets all legal requirements for England and Wales
  • Uses proper legal language and structure
  • Is reviewed by a qualified wills specialist before you download it
  • Includes all necessary clauses (residuary clause, revocation of previous wills, etc.)
  • Will be accepted by the Probate Registry

To ensure your will is valid, you must:

  1. Print the final will
  2. Sign it in front of two independent witnesses (both present together)
  3. Have both witnesses sign while you and each other are present
  4. Ensure witnesses are not beneficiaries

Once properly signed and witnessed, your WillsConnect will has exactly the same legal standing as a will drafted by a solicitor. It will be accepted for probate and can be enforced like any other valid will.

We've helped thousands of people create legally valid wills that have successfully gone through probate.
