- We are not a firm of solicitors
- We do not provide legal advice
- Our service is designed for straightforward wills only
- The service is intended for use in England and Wales
Where your circumstances appear complex, we may recommend that you seek advice from a qualified solicitor.
3. Eligibility
To use the service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have testamentary capacity
- Be acting on your own behalf
- Be ordinarily resident in England or Wales
We reserve the right to refuse or suspend access if these conditions are not met.
4. How the Service Works
- You complete an online questionnaire
- You review and confirm your answers
- A will document is generated based on your inputs
- Depending on your selection:
- Your will may be reviewed before release, or
- You may request immediate download
- Your will may be reviewed before release, or
You are responsible for reviewing all content before finalising your will.
5. Accuracy of Information
You are solely responsible for ensuring that:
- All information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful
- Names, relationships, and instructions are correct
- The final document reflects your intentions
We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you.
6. Execution of the Will
We do not supervise, verify, or witness the signing of your will.
You are responsible for ensuring that your will is:
- Signed correctly
- Properly witnessed
- Executed in accordance with the law of England and Wales
An incorrectly executed will may be invalid.
7. Digital Content & Consumer Rights
Our service supplies digital content (a personalised will document).
By placing an order, you acknowledge that:
- The content is tailored to you
- The service begins immediately upon completion of the questionnaire
- The document is generated based on your confirmed inputs
This section is intended to comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
8. Right to Cancel
8.1 Standard Cancellation Right
If you are a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase.
8.2 Immediate Download / Express Start
If you choose immediate download, or otherwise request that the service begins immediately, you:
- Expressly request immediate performance of the service
- Acknowledge that digital content will be supplied straight away
- Agree that your right to cancel is lost once the digital content is provided
This is permitted under Regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
9. Refund Policy
9.1 When Refunds Are Not Available
No refund will be given where:
- The will document has been generated
- Immediate download has been requested
- The service has been fully performed
- The document reflects the information you provided
This applies even if you later decide not to use the will.
9.2 Partial Refunds
Where a refund is legally required and the service has partially been performed, we may deduct a proportionate amount reflecting:
- Work already completed
- Digital content already supplied
9.3 Faulty Service
If the service is defective, does not function as described, or contains an error caused by us (and not by your input), you may be entitled to:
- Correction, or
- A partial or full refund, as required by law
10. Amendments and Reviews
Where your plan includes amendments or review:
- We may request clarification or corrections
- We may limit the number of review cycles
- If you do not respond within a reasonable timeframe, we may release the document as drafted
11. Fees and Payments
- Prices are shown clearly before payment
- Fees are typically one-off
- Payments are processed securely via third-party providers
All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, software, text, branding, and documentation is owned by or licensed to We Serve You Limited.
You may use the generated will for your personal use only.
13. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to misuse or interfere with the platform
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
We may suspend or terminate access for misuse.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect user information
- We are not liable for failure to execute the will correctly
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
