What if I lose my will?

Don't worry - if you created your will with WillsConnect, you can easily get a replacement.

Accessing your will:

1. Log into your WillsConnect account
2. Go to your will documents
3. Download your will again (as many times as you need)
4. Print a fresh copy

We securely store your will documents in your account indefinitely, so you always have access.

If you've lost your signed original:

• Download and print a new copy from your account
• Sign it again with two witnesses
• This becomes your new valid original

Important notes:

• The signed original is what's needed for probate
• Keep the original somewhere safe (fireproof safe, with solicitor, etc.)
• Tell your executors where it's stored
• You can print multiple copies for reference (mark them as copies)

Best practice for preventing loss:

• Keep original in safe, known location
• Give copies (marked as copies) to your executors
• Keep digital copy in your WillsConnect account
• Register with National Will Register
• Create a document location list for your executors
